Indie legal drama, For the Cause won the award for "Outstanding Film of the Year" at The African American Arts Alliance of Chicago's 13th Annual Black Excellence Awards! Also, the award for "Best Actor/Actress" was presented to the amazing Charlette Speigner. Congratulations to Charlette, impressive writer/director, Katherine Nero, the cast and crew!
