Ana Guigui performing with Christopher Cross!
My dear friend, Ana Guigui anaguigui.com was playing keyboard and singing backing vocals for Christopher Cross last night. She also sang a beautiful duet with him! My first thought: Ana is as wonderful on stage as she is off. Following thoughts: Boy, is she a heckuva piano player and singer (and songwriter) or what! Christopher, with the likes of Ana, Chazz and Dave on board, sounded BETTER live than the recordings! And last but not least, who knew that Christopher Cross was such an amazing guitar player! I watched Christopher Cross Saturday evening at the Gold Coast here in Las Vegas. I noticed the lady playing keyboards and backing vocals. She also sang a few duets with Christopher [Open Up My Window, Walking in Avalon, etc]. She has a wonderful voice. Hope she comes back to town but looks like she's booked with Christopher Cross' tour for months!
