Brad Brubaker & The Crowd Goes Wild + We Live In Public

Brad Brubaker & The Crowd Goes Wild singing his combo platter of funny [i.e., the five stages of grief - as it relates to his love life] and punky/serious/sad songs with gusto! One of the best shows I've seen all year, no joke.
We Live In Public on tour from Missouri - very loud and very, very good.  I could not stay for The Mudflapps but if the two first acts were any indication of what they were like, I really need to catch them in the future!
THE MUDFLAPPS: Country storytelling at its finest. The songs weave tales of woe, whiskey, and wild living. Upright bass, guitars, dobro, and mandolin combine with strong songwriting and tight vocal harmony.

WE LIVE IN PUBLIC is a fock/folk/pop band based out of Columbia, Missouri. We Live in Public’s music emphasizes vocal harmony and melody over an electrified folk back beat.

BRAD BRUBAKER & THE CROWD GOES WILD brings together the richness of acoustic music, the charm of alt-country and the energy of melodic punk. Whether playing distorted power chords or fingerpicking crisply, the songs whiz past and make the listener wonder what hit 'em. With witty and relatable lyrics, performances offer neurotic sincerity, balancing humor with darkness.
