Bearded Poets Society

The other day when I saw wrtier/poet, Omar Silwany, I noticed that he was sporting a beard. My pal, Richard Loranger often wears a beard. Les Lopes, Patron Saint of poets donned a beard at the benefit he threw for Richard. Poet, Jason had a beard... Is there some rule that you have to have a beard to be a poet...?

Or is it just because it got so durn cold...?
