I went to Wendy Ip's Keyboard Karaoke over at the Soft Spot in Brooklyn last night.
It was BIG FUN!
Wendy sang awesome versions of many rock favorites, including, Michael Jackson's, "Billie Jean" and an impressive rendition of Deee-Lite's "Groove is in the Heart."
Nicole, one of the patrons belted out Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone" and sounded great!
I did not karaoke because I do not karaoke. But it was a fun show! Supercool, handsome chef, John Light chefjohnlight.com and his beautiful wife, talented designer, Fati stopped by and even caught Wendy's after comedy show! I am still laughing my ass off! Italy! Tour bus operator! Gelati! Wendy's method of getting a subway seat! Oh, you really had to be there....
