Hiro's

Big, huge thanks to Joe for telling me about this place!  The sushi platter I enjoyed below was only, $7.50!  Foley asked me, "Is it real fish?" (Being from L.A. and all, the prices just didn't make any kind of sense to him...)  www.sushiexpress.com

The Magic Sandwich at The Latin Cafe 2000

This dude told me to check out the Latin Cafe on Biscayne Bay Boulevard.  I had a pulled pork Cuban sandwich, PAN CON LECHON.  It came with really hot, delicious, fresh french fries.  The woman who waited on me kept calling me, "Lady!" as if I was a lady and she was Jerry Lewis...  I have begun to think of this snack as, "The Magic Sandwich" since it was so tasty, it was absolutely magical!  And it only cost, $6.95!    www.latincafe2000.net/

Puerto Sagua

THANKS to Ken for recommending Puerto Sagua, 700 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL to me!  I talked to my old pal, Ana on the phone the other night and she caught me making quesadillas.  I told her about some of the delicious food I was able to sample in Miami.  She queried, "Quesadillas? Cuban food? What's going on with you?"  I replied, "Dude - I was in Miami. It's not like there were a ton of Korean places I could go to..." I happily consumed the ropa vieja and a serving of the tres leches cake.  I would definitley go back!
