Coming Soon(ish) to PBS!

I recently got to see, A Christmas Carol - The Concert.  It was like seeing a show on Broadway. The cast was exceptional.  I liked the conductor and her sparkly, long coat. Look out for this show on television this coming Christmas season...  achristmascaroltheconcert.com

I Love You, Angelina Jolie

Jolie wrote about her decision to have a preventative double mastectomy in an op-ed piece for The New York Times today.  Perhaps my friend, Alan summed it up best:  She's a badass.

The Chicago Children's Theater and Red Moon present THE ELEPHANT AND THE WHALE!

I think my mom summed it up best: Your friend, Becky Poole is beautiful and multi-talented! Actually, everyone in the show was very good!

I don't know Kasey Foster but I saw her wonderful Dance Tribute to Mr. Bungle at Martyrs' a little while ago.  I walked up to her after seeing her in The Elephant and The Whale and I exclaimed, "Kasey Foster! You sing as well as you dance!" Her reply was, "Why, yes, I do."  Jesus Christ, and she's funny too!
